A corporate gift with your logo on it does one job that an unbranded hamper cannot. It tells the person holding it that someone in your company chose this for them. That is the whole difference between a gift and a parcel, and it usually costs a few rupees per box.
This guide covers what can actually be branded, what artwork we need from you, how much it adds to the price, how long it takes, and where branding is worth doing versus where it quietly ruins the gift.

What can carry your logo
Not every surface is worth printing on. These are the four that actually get noticed.
| Where | How it is done | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Outer box or sleeve | Printed or foiled, single colour or full colour | The default. Highest visibility, lowest cost |
| Note card inside | Printed card with your logo and a short message | Adds the personal line, works at every budget |
| Ribbon or belly band | Printed band around the box | Subtle, premium look for client gifting |
| Carry bag | Printed paper bag the hamper goes into | When gifts are handed over in person at the office |
What we suggest skipping: logos on individual jars inside the box. It turns a food gift into merchandise, and nobody wants a branded jar sitting on their kitchen shelf in December.
What branding adds to the price
Branding cost depends on quantity and method, and it falls sharply as volume rises because the setup cost spreads out.
| Quantity | What is typical |
|---|---|
| 10 to 49 boxes | Branding is quoted separately, since setup cost is spread over few boxes |
| 50 boxes and above | Logo printing on the box or sleeve is usually included in the price |
| 100 boxes and above | Included, with more finish options such as foiling |
| 500 boxes and above | Included, with fully custom packaging design if you want it |
Foiling and special finishes cost more than flat printing. If the budget is tight, a clean single colour print on good packaging looks better than a cheap foil on a thin box.
The artwork we need from you
This is where most orders lose two or three days, so it helps to get it right the first time.
Send a vector file. AI, EPS, SVG or PDF. These scale to any size without going blurry.
If you only have a raster file, send the largest PNG you have, ideally 2000 pixels wide or more, with a transparent background.
Tell us your brand colours in Pantone or CMYK if you know them. A screenshot of your website logo will print as a muddy approximation.
Send it early. Two to three weeks before dispatch. We share a digital proof for approval before anything goes to print, and that approval loop takes a day or two by itself.
What usually goes wrong: a logo lifted from a PowerPoint deck, a JPEG with a white box around it, or artwork approved on the last day before printing. All three are avoidable.
The note card, which matters more than the logo
If you do only one personalisation, make it the printed note card. It is the cheapest addition available and the one people mention afterwards.
Three lines is the right length. Signed by the founder or the team head, not by “Team HR”. If you can include the recipient’s name, do it, because a card addressed to a person reads completely differently from a card addressed to everyone.
A workable structure: one line thanking them for the year, one line that is specific to your company or the year you have had, and one line wishing them and their family a good Diwali. Avoid targets, avoid quarterly language, avoid anything that sounds like it came from a deck.
Hampers that brand well
Rigid boxes with a clean flat surface take branding best. These are the Sumewam options companies pick most often for branded orders.
| Hamper | Price | Why it brands well |
|---|---|---|
| Sumewam Signature Trio | Rs 550 | Flat sleeve, the volume standard for large teams |
| Shahi Mewa Box | Rs 650 | Traditional festive look, clean top surface |
| House of Light Diwali Hamper | Rs 899 | The most picked company-wide box, strong presentation |
| Shubh Labh Jhola Diwali Hamper | Rs 1,150 | Distinctive format, stands out on a desk |
| Rajwada Tray Diwali Hamper | Rs 1,200 | Premium tray for managers and senior staff |
| The Botanica Box | Rs 1,450 | Client and leadership gifting |
The full range with contents and photographs is on the gift hampers page, and bulk pricing is on the corporate gifting page.
Timeline for a branded order
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| 3 to 4 weeks before | Confirm hamper and quantity, send artwork |
| 2 to 3 weeks before | Digital proof shared, you approve it |
| 1 to 2 weeks before | Boxes printed, hampers packed and dated |
| Dispatch week | City-wise consignments with tracking |
Diwali 2026 is on 8 November. For branded orders, confirming by mid October keeps you comfortably ahead of the rush. Ready hampers without branding need about one to two weeks, though courier networks get congested in the final fortnight.
Where branding is worth it, and where it is not
Worth it: employee gifting at any scale, client gifting where the relationship is ongoing, and anything handed over at an office event where several people see the box at once.
Not worth it: a handful of gifts for senior clients where an unbranded premium box and a handwritten card land better, and any gift where the branding would be larger than the product name on the box.
The rule we use: the logo should look like a signature, not like a label.
Quality and paperwork
Sumewam is ISO certified, so the packing process follows documented quality standards rather than a seasonal arrangement. Every hamper is packed and dated on the day it ships instead of being pulled from stock bought months earlier, which is the single biggest reason gifted dry fruits taste stale.
Every corporate order is invoiced with your company GSTIN so finance can book it as a business expense. Share your GSTIN, registered name and billing address at the time of confirmation.
Get a branded quote
Send us three things and we can quote quickly: how many boxes, your approximate budget per box, and your logo file. We come back with options, branding mockups and pricing, usually within a few hours on a working day.
Start on the corporate gifting page. If you are still deciding on budget per head, see Diwali gifts for employees, and for the full ordering process at volume see bulk Diwali hampers.
FAQs
Can you print our company logo on the gift box?
Yes. We print or foil your logo on the outer box, the sleeve, a ribbon band or a printed note card inside. For orders above 50 boxes, logo printing on the box or sleeve is usually included in the price.
What artwork format do you need for logo printing?
A vector file is best: AI, EPS, SVG or PDF. If you only have a raster image, send the largest PNG you have, ideally 2000 pixels wide with a transparent background. Pantone or CMYK codes help us match your brand colours.
How much does logo branding add to the cost?
It depends on quantity and finish. Below 50 boxes it is quoted separately because the setup cost spreads over fewer units. At 50 boxes and above, single colour printing on the box or sleeve is usually included. Foiling and special finishes cost more.
How early do we need to send the logo?
Two to three weeks before dispatch. We share a digital proof for your approval before printing, and that approval step usually takes a day or two on its own.
Can we add a personalised note with each gift?
Yes. A printed note card is available at every budget, and we can print the recipient name on each card for an employee list. It is the cheapest personalisation available and the one people remember.
What is the minimum quantity for customised corporate gifts?
Corporate orders start at 10 hampers. Branding is available from that quantity, quoted separately, and is usually included in the price from 50 boxes upwards.
Do branded orders come with a GST invoice?
Yes. Every corporate order is invoiced with your company GSTIN, with the per unit price, branding, delivery and taxes listed separately so it can go through internal approval.
